Fine Art

André studied fine art drawing under Robert Ross, noted Canadian charcoal artist, and painting under Doris McCarthy, honoured Canadian 'plein air' landscape artist. Over the years, André's drawings have evolved into his own style while influenced by the school of realism.  

Owning 'original' artwork rather than printed copies is a special privilege enjoyed by few in this day and age. Original artwork is timeless and is a permanent legacy to pass down through generations. A drawing of a special family member, a pet, or a favourite subject can be a cherished reminder of what you hold dear in your life.

André will consider requests for commissioned fine art drawings in graphite, charcoal, conté crayon and pen & ink. His original works cover a variety of subject matter: portraits of people, animals, homes, nature subjects, natural and formal still-life renderings, etc.
